Flying to save lives, flying to bring help and hope, flying to shorten distances… flying to transform lives!
Who are We?
Hello! We are Pierre and Anne, and we have two daughters: Rachel (8), Enora (4), and a son Jonatan (2). Although our family currently resides in Haute-Savoie, our hearts beat for the rest of the world!
Pierre always dreamed of becoming a pilot. Anne has always dreamed of exploring the world and the most remote countries. Together, we are committed to:
* delivering practical help to our neighbors, especially the most needy.
* bringing the Good News of Jesus, which animates us, to the ends of the Earth!
This is why MAF attracts us so much!
Why MAF?
MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) is an international humanitarian organization, motivated by the love of Christ, which uses aeronautics to serve isolated people.
Operating in countries where there is little infrastructure and where access to care is limited, MAF aircraft make it possible to quickly transport injured people to medical facilities. Transport of food aid, medical equipment and personnel, emergency medical evacuations, humanitarian operations… these are all concrete ways of bringing relief, hope, and healing to more isolated populations.
Moved by this vision full of hope, we have begun our journey to join MAF!
Step by Step
Since we discovered MAF, we have been on a long journey towards our ultimate goal of one day joining this organization.
We raised funds through creating a small business, obtained a private pilot’s license in 2021, flew to gain experience, gained additional qualifications… And in 2025, Pierre obtained his professional pilot’s license.
Since MAF planes transport medical and humanitarian equipment and personnel, the organization requires the same qualifications as an airline!
Once these numerous licenses have been obtained, we will be able to go into the field: to one of the MAF bases located in a developing country.
